Opa and Oma

We have been enjoying a wonderful two weeks with Opa and Oma.  The first hello's are full of emotion!

The kids have quickly grown attached to them and the cry of, "Opa! Oma Look at this! Watch me!" can often be heard.  We have had a nice mix of spending time together at our home in Wachbach: playing in the yard, visiting the local playground, eating dinner and teaching them our favorite games; as well as taking excursions to major local attractions such as mini golf, a castle or the huge Wildlife Park located only a few minutes away.

Opa and Oma have treated them with gifts at each visit.  The first day there were bikes for the three older kids to use while they are here.
And a soccer ball!  Treats from the Netherlands, special gifts and other outdoor toys have been brought daily! Yes, thank you, we would like to have chocolate sprinkles on our morning bread like you do in the Netherlands!

Today Sam said, "Opa and Oma have given me something every time they have come over.  I really want to give them something!  What should I give them?"  I suggested they would enjoy a picture or note from him so he carefully made them each a drawing.
