Adult Fun

The kids are not the only ones enjoying the beautiful Spring weather, gorgeous scenery and amazing park structures!

We had fun watching Opa and Oma playfully use the old time phone boxes!

And even JB and Martijn had to try out some of the exercise park challenges.

But I was the only one who could do chin-ups!  In knee-high city boots I might add! :)

I have been amazed at the variety of park equipment at each play area we have visited.  Every park/playground has a unique set-up and the equipment itself is not like anything we have had a chance to see in Oregon.  Playgrounds with zipline swings, platform swings, swinging log bridges (actual logs attached with chains, not just a wiggly solid bridge), tall monkey climbing platforms.  I suspect that our safety (lawsuit) conscious park departments have been relegated to the mass commercial produced equipment we often see.  The kids have really been excited to tackle these challenges.
